Opening of Community Hub

We were delighted to host a very successful open afternoon to celebrate the opening of our new outdoor classroom building. The event was attended by colleagues from Devon County Council, including Cllr Jess Bailey and Cllr Denise Bickley, as well as our governors and visitors from other local schools. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the new space and share our excitement for the many learning opportunities it will provide. We are especially looking forward to beginning to use the classroom as a space for use in holidays from the Autumn term 2026. Further details will be sent out soon.

Seaton Satellite Project

Work is continuing to progress. Numbers are being finalised for 2026 and information will be shared with those families who may be transitioning to Seaton in September 2026. Here are some up to date photos of how the building is progressing. Gemma Moore (newly appointed Seaton lead) is writing to families who will be involved and will be hosting some information events.

Bicton Animal Care Visit

Silver enjoyed a wonderful trip to Bicton Animal Care today, where pupils learned all about how to care for rodents, reptiles and fish. The visit gave everyone the chance to explore different animals and find out what they need to stay healthy and happy. It was a fantastic experience for our pupils, and they showed great interest and enthusiasm throughout the trip.

We are excited to invite parents to attend a curriculum information morning on Friday 8th May from 10am to 11:30am.  As you may be aware the school have been developing an innovative and bespoke curriculum for Mill Water pupils and this will be an opportunity to learn all about it and how it works. If you would like to attend please can you complete our New Curriculum Presentation Form here
