> Occupational Therapy


Welcome to the Children’s Occupational Therapy service at Mill Water School.

We provide a whole school OT service offering:

    • Fine motor skills groups; using tools, pens, pencils, scissors and cutlery
    • Organisational groups to support with life skills such as making a hot drink, making a snack, catching a bus, ordering a drink, packing a school bag
    • Personal care practice and advice on how to support with toileting, teeth brushing, dressing etc
    • Supporting posture
    • Regulation groups and a school wide approach to sensory differences

Who are we?

Stephanie Nock

I graduated from Plymouth University in 2016 with a Pre-registered OT Master’s degree and worked as a Children’s Community Occupational Therapist in Coventry for 2 years. I joined the Devon Children’s Community Occupational Therapy team in October 2018. I am currently undertaking Oxford Postural Management Training and have completed my Sensory Integration Level 1. 

Previous to my OT degree, I worked as a Teaching Assistant in a specialist school and a carer for the elderly in the community. I also have a BSc Honors degree in Dance and Health Studies.

Rosie Wood

I graduated from Plymouth University in 2018 and worked as an OT in an inpatient setting alongside my role as a support worker at a holiday club for children with additional needs.

In 2020, I joined the Children’s Community Occupational Therapy team and have loved working with Children and their families to work towards achieving goals that are important to them. 

I am currently completing my Sensory Integration Level 1 training.
