27th February 2026

Welcome

It’s been another busy week here at Mill Water, and we’ve all enjoyed seeing a little bit of sunshine! We’re seeing the first signs of spring all around us, and are really looking forward to the lighter and warmer days ahead.

Accessibility Planning

We are in the process of updating the school’s Accessibility Plan, and are keen to hear your views. The plan focuses on improving access to the school building and to the curriculum. If you have any comments about either of these, or ideas about how we might improve, please contact the school – thank you.

Seaton Satellite Project

Work has begun on the building in Seaton. The project is still in its initial stages, and so far the building has been stripped back, ready for the transformation to begin. We will keep you updated on progress as the project moves forward.

Outside Classroom

The construction of our new outside classroom / community space is very nearly complete. Thank you for your patience whilst the builders have been completing the final stages. We’re especially grateful to the drivers and escorts, and to those parents who drop off and pick up their children.

We hope to send information about the building’s grand opening very soon. It will be a fantastic addition to the Mill Water site, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Post-16 Consultation

The Department for Education’s Regional Director has requested further information about our proposal to reduce Mill Water’s age range to 3-16. As soon as we have a decision we will let you know. Thank you for your patience.

Easter Raffle

We are delighted to launch this year’s Easter Raffle, and once again want to thank Melissa, a Mill Water parent, for her incredible enthusiasm and generosity. Tickets are now available – please see the poster below for more information.

Parent Information Sessions

In the next few weeks we will be hosting sessions on our new curriculum and Evidence for Learning. Details will be sent out soon.
