Dear Parents and Carers,

Best Seasonal Wishes

Thank you to all the parents/carers that joined us for our Christmas celebrations. It was lovely to see so many of you in school.

Thank you too for all your gifts, donations and cards. I am always overwhelmed by your generosity.

School has been electric with the excitement of Christmas and I am sure you will agree that our tree in the hall looks beautiful with pupils’ decorations. It was a very busy and fun-filled last week of term, with plenty of ho, ho ho!

Wishing you all a lovely festive break.

Santa's Visit

All pupils met Santa and his elves and received individual gifts, thanks to the generous support of Otter Valley Rotary Club.

Thank you for all your fundraising support!

We have been overwhelmed by the kind support of our whole school community with different fundraising activities this term. Our Children in Need week raised a whopping £1,320! This will help change the lives of disadvantaged young people across the UK. Our Christmas jumper day raised £106 for the local cancer charity Force. And our Mill Water Christmas raffle raised £1028, with all proceeds going directly to extra enrichment activities and resources for our pupils. Thank you everyone!

Christmas Crafts & Baking

Class 1 and 2 have enjoyed taking part in our immersive Christmas activities. We have focused our activities around three different themes of Christmas; snow and ice, the nativity and Santa's workshop. These activities have included making mince pies, exploring ice, decorating crowns, dressing up, making reindeer food and wrapping presents.

Meanwhile, Class 4 demonstrated great focus and creativity when making their Christmas cards. Pupils also decorated their room with paper chains and danced to lots of joyful Christmas music. Happy Christmas & best wishes for the New Year from Class 4!
