…to Mill Water School
Mill Water is a 3-19 special school catering for pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties. In January 2015 we moved into a new purpose built school in the grounds of Bicton College. The new school includes light/dark sensory rooms, soft play, a hydrotherapy pool, ICT facilities, specialist curriculum classrooms, spacious grounds and outside play equipment. All staff are committed to providing the care and support our pupils need to reach their full potential. We always celebrate the smallest steps of achievement as well as being committed to delivering a purposeful education.

How to find us
Mill Water School is located within the grounds of Bicton College. Please note that this is not part of Bicton Park Botanical Gardens.
From Newton Poppleford: take the B3178 towards Colaton Raleigh, East Budleigh and Budleigh Salterton. After 1.2 miles pass through the village of Colaton Raleigh and The Otter Inn on your left. Continue ahead for 500m. Where the road bends to the left, turn right down the lane, currently signposted ‘Morgan Sindall’. At the end of the lane turn left, then take the first left to reach the school car park. Walk up the lane to reach the front of the school and the main entrance. If you miss the turning from the B3178, continue ahead for half a mile and turn right into the main entrance of Bicton College. Continue ahead, passing between college buildings and the college car parks on your right. Continue through the college buildings until you see the school building ahead. When you see the school, continue down the lane to reach the school car park.
