Calvert Trust Residential 2015

9th November 2015

In the second week of November, a group of students from Class 3, Class 9 and Sixth Form went to stay at the Calvert Trust, Exmoor for a week. While there staff and students took part in a variety of outward bound activities, from crate stacking to cycling, abseiling to canoeing, and lots of things inbetween. We also enjoyed having the use of Calvert's swimming pool and sensory room every day, as well as a visit from Exmoor Zoo one evening.

The food and accommodation were brilliant, although some people got more sleep than others! All the students pushed themselves in challenges from simply being away from home and coping without their usual routines, to taking part in activities that were difficult for them - and being enabled to be successful.

It was a brilliant week, and we can't wait to go again.
